About Our School

About Our Programs

Our educational programs take into account each child's social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical developmental needs.

We believe children are happy and secure when they have plenty of opportunities to succeed each day. Success breeds self-confidence and self-confident children approach learning as fun and actively search for information and solutions to problems. As a result they develop into well-rounded, capable adults.

We offer three preschool programs, each targeted to your child's stage of development:

Cornerstones:  Toddlers and Milestones:  Twos

Our program was created with the understanding that toddlers and two-year-olds accomplish developmental milestones at their own pace. Our program provides an enriching setting designed to enhance each child's development by inviting the child to explore, discover, and learn. Open-ended activities and choices help toddlers and two's interact with peers, encourage self-help and language skills.

Stepping Stones:  Preschool Program

Our Stepping Stones program was designed to introduce young children to concepts of language, arts, math, and science. In this program, children are learning concepts through a wide variety of hands-on child-initiated activities. Carefully selected options are given to the children where they play, practice, and learn new skills. Children are also learning how to be a part of a group, follow directions, problem solving skills, and making choices. Your child will also develop a positive self-image through dramatic and creative activities.

Key Stones:   Private Kindergarten

Our Key Stones program was created to build a solid foundation of skills needed for elementary school. Kindergarten children are ready for a more academically challenging program. Through a variety of academic experiences, children will learn reading, writing, math, and science skills. We are confident we can help pave the way to your child's future success in elementary school.

All of our programs offer age- and developmentally-appropriate curricula in a safe, nurturing environment.

Each of our programs addresses the whole child. In this way we can assist children to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, and physically.

Theme-based lesson plans keep children interested and make learning fun as children practice pre-reading and math skills, are exposed to other cultures and traditions, have group experiences in the classroom and on the play yard, move to the rhythm of music, and reinforce concepts through educational computer programs.

Experience is the best teacher and we give children the opportunity to participate in many guided experiences in learning situations.
